Another sensational case like Delhi’s Shraddha murder case has come to the fore. This time Sahil Gehlot of Delhi killed his girlfriend. After this, by locking his dead body in the freeze, he himself married another girl. At present, the police have arrested the accused.
There have been many shocking revelations in this matter so far. This is not the first case, when the end of love relationships is getting so painful. Many such cases have come to the fore, when lovers or girlfriends have become thirsty for each other’s blood. In such a situation, we talked to psychologist Dr. Hema Khanna about this. He understood the whole issue and told where did Nikki go wrong, for which she had to bear the brunt of losing her life. Dr. Khanna also told that what should never be ignored in the relationship…
First know the whole matter
This is the story of Nikki Yadav and Sahil Gehlot. Both met in a coaching center in 2018 and then became friends while traveling in the same bus. This friendship gradually turned into love which went on to live-in. After living in live-in for two years, when it came to marriage, Sahil took his step. When the boy started marrying elsewhere with the consent of the family, the girl started putting pressure on him. On the day of the boy’s engagement, he went to meet his girlfriend and after several hours of argument, the lover strangled her to death with a charging wire.
What happened on the day of the incident?
According to media reports, when Nikki came to know on the night of February 9 that Sahil was engaged, she started calling him. After this both met at one o’clock in the night. Both wanted to run away to Goa. When Sahil did not get the ticket to Goa, both of them planned to go to Uttarakhand or Himachal, for which they first reached Anand Vihar and then Kashmere Gate ISBT. Meanwhile, calls started coming from Sahil’s family members. The relatives started pressurizing Sahil to come home immediately. When Sahil started going home, Nikki started quarreling with him. The argument escalated to such an extent that Sahil lost his temper and strangled Nikki to death with a cable.
After this, the body was made to lie down in the sitting posture on the front seat with the driver. After this, he put on the seat belt and drove the car for 40 kilometers and took it to the dhaba. Wherein, he kept her dead body in the freeze. After marriage, Sahil conspired to throw Nikki’s dead body in a drain or throw it out of Delhi by keeping it in a suitcase.
How could Nikki’s life have been saved?
Psychologist Dr. Hema Khanna tells that Nikki’s life could have been saved, but she had ignored Sahil’s actions many times. Dr. Khanna says, ‘Police investigation has revealed that Sahil’s marriage did not happen suddenly. Preparations for this were going on for more than six months. In such a situation, if Sahil deliberately hid this thing from Nikki till the last moment, then he was planning to cheat with complete conspiracy. But if Nikki knew this beforehand, then she made a big mistake. He should immediately involve the elders in such matters. At least tell your family about this. Due to this, when the family members of both were involved in this issue together, then perhaps the matter would not have reached here.
